About the Bottom Row Review lesson
Bottom-row keys are the least used and the first to go rusty. The Z, X, C and V cluster in particular gets neglected because the left little and ring fingers are weakest. This review gives them disproportionate attention on purpose. This lesson covers Z, X, C, V, B, N, M, ,, ., and /. There are no new keys — just 3 drills mixing what you already know, so you find out which reaches are still slow. Once you can finish all 3 drills above 95% accuracy, move on to Beginner Final Review.
How to get the most from Bottom Row Review
- Do not aim for a personal best here. Aim for a clean run with no corrections.
- Watch which of Z, X, C, V, B, N, M, ,, ., and / you hesitate on — those are the lessons worth repeating before moving forward.
- Keep your fingers on the home row between reaches. Drift is what makes review drills feel harder than they are.
- If your accuracy drops below 90%, go back to the lesson that introduced the keys giving you trouble.
