About the Numbers and Symbols Review lesson
The number row is the longest reach on the keyboard and the one most people never learn properly, defaulting to looking down. This review mixes digits with symbols so you practise them the way they appear in real text — dates, prices and quantities. This lesson covers all 15 keys taught so far. There are no new keys — just 3 drills mixing what you already know, so you find out which reaches are still slow. Once you can finish all 3 drills above 95% accuracy, move on to Common English Words.
How to get the most from Numbers and Symbols Review
- Do not aim for a personal best here. Aim for a clean run with no corrections.
- Notice which keys you hesitate on — those are the lessons worth repeating before moving forward.
- Keep your fingers on the home row between reaches. Drift is what makes review drills feel harder than they are.
- If your accuracy drops below 90%, go back to the lesson that introduced the keys giving you trouble.
