About the Punctuation Review lesson
Punctuation is where fluent typists lose their rhythm, because each mark needs a Shift or a stretch that letters do not. This review drills the full stop, comma, apostrophe, question mark and colon together so the transitions stop being decisions. This lesson covers ., ,, ?, !, ', ", :, ;, and -. There are no new keys — just 3 drills mixing what you already know, so you find out which reaches are still slow. Once you can finish all 3 drills above 95% accuracy, move on to Number Row: 1 to 5.
How to get the most from Punctuation Review
- Do not aim for a personal best here. Aim for a clean run with no corrections.
- Watch which of ., ,, ?, !, ', ", :, ;, and - you hesitate on — those are the lessons worth repeating before moving forward.
- Keep your fingers on the home row between reaches. Drift is what makes review drills feel harder than they are.
- If your accuracy drops below 90%, go back to the lesson that introduced the keys giving you trouble.

97% or better is a good bar. Below 90% and the next lesson will feel much harder than it needs to, because it builds on these keys.
