About the Top Row Review lesson

The top row is where most beginners start looking down, because the reach breaks contact with the home row. This review mixes Q through P with the home row so you practise leaving and returning, not just the reach itself. This lesson covers all 18 keys taught so far. There are no new keys — just 3 drills mixing what you already know, so you find out which reaches are still slow. Once you can finish all 3 drills above 95% accuracy, move on to V and M Keys.

Frequently Asked Questions

It draws on every key taught up to this point — 18 in total — with no new keys introduced.

Nothing is failed — go back to the lesson that introduced the keys you kept missing and repeat it once. Review lessons exist to point you at the gap, not to gate progress.

97% or better is a good bar. Below 90% and the next lesson will feel much harder than it needs to, because it builds on these keys.
